4.2.08 META KEY tag

@start META_KEY @stop

This tag is replaced by the value of the META_KEY field in the database. META_KEY is supposed to be used for the meta descriptor in the HTML header of a model. For pages generated off records in Data Tables META_KEY is the title field; for pages defined in the Groupings META_KEY is taken form the record that defines the page.

The example below shows a part of a model file with a META_DESC tag.

<meta name="description" keywords = "{$META_KEY$}" >

The model used for the page you are looking at has exactly that. META_KEY is here replaced by the term "compendium, ruby, RoR, Rails, site generator, website generator"
